Music Ministry
Redeemer is a church who sings, rings, and praises God by sharing our musical gifts. If you want to take a more active role in worship, consider joining (or bringing your children and grandchildren to) any of these music opportunities. It is a great way to get to know people, develop some great friendships, and strengthen your faith (and ours too). If you want more information on any music ministries, contact Deacon Katie in an email!
The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:15pm. This choir sings at the 10:30 worship service each week. They also provide music at special services during the Christmas and Easter season.
The adult handbell choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 6:00. Their offering of music is regularly shared with Sunday services. The Handbell Choir is directed by Michael Blanton.
If you play an instrument, enjoy doing occasional solos or want to talk further about musical opportunities, please contact Deacon Katie.
Especially For Children
Sing and Celebrate is a children’s choir (kids K-5th grade, exceptions, and siblings welcome) that meets most Sundays from 11:30 to 12:15. We learn anthems for worship, learn about the bible and our worship service, sing silly songs, dance a little, play a few instruments, and generally, CELEBRATE God’s love through SINGING. For more information, go to our page.
Provision of Safe Community
To provide a safe community for children and adults, the church requires all employees and volunteers working with children to comply with our Child, Youth, and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Protection Program.
